- Drivers will stack plasma boxes on pallets and shrink rap pallets
- Use Pallet Jack/Lift Gate to put pallets behind bulkhead at each stop
- Drivers must wear uniforms – company provided
- ($200/year allowance for coats, steel toed shoes, etc. to be reimbursed
- Driver gets to stop; they ask the customer “ what is your count” driver will then determine how many pallets he needs to remove from the trailer.
- An average “full” pallet is about 90 boxes, with the midsize box shown on one of the videos.
- Boxes can weigh from 5 to 25 pounds
- 6 different kinds of boxes.
- Trailer is very cold anywhere from 32-33 below. Trailer doors will need to stay closed unless you are loading or unloading.
- Cooling system never shuts off. There is a 2nd unit called the “ underbelly” that is used only when needed.
- Drivers use an electric pallet jack
- Drivers have very little dwell time.
- McKesson runs a tight schedule. Some locations may vary.
- Once hired for McKesson, drivers will be handed a “ book” that has everything they need to know about hauling plasma.

- Drivers will go through a week or two of training, where they are separated (if teams). Then they will get 5 days off after training. Drivers will then be required to go out for the next 4 weeks to ensure they have all the processes and procedures down. After that, 4 weeks out, they will resume with a weekly or biweekly home time.

- 76 - 85 CPM per driver
- $3,800 - $4,250/week average team pay
- $197,600 - $221,000/year average team pay
- $5,000 sign on bonus
- 4,500 miles weekly guaranteed – (Will be compensated for the difference if you are assigned to run a route shorter than 4,500 miles)
- 3 weeks out
- Will pull mostly pharmaceutical distributors like Concore (formerly AmerisourceBergen), Cardinal, and McKesson
- Will also pull for drug manufacturers, with the largest being Elli Lilly. This will consist of medications, the majority being RX only
Home Time:
- If living within 75 miles of Erlanger KY they can get home on Weekends for 34 hour reset.) . Otherwise, it is weekly home time with no weekend guarantee.
- If living within 250 miles, will stay out 2 weeks with the understanding it could be longer due to inclement weather or a load issue.
IN -KY & TX( TX location closed at this time) Markets ONLY
- If living within 200 miles of DC, can take truck home but leave trailer at DC
- If outside 200 miles will have to drive their car to the DC and leave it till Home Time
